Congratulations to our Level 5 Boys who finished 5th place as a team, bringing home their first team trophy of the year! Congrats also to coach Regan Green. This win continues coach Regan's perfect record at Circle of Stars — always returning home with a trophy. Individually, Drew Parr received 2nd place on the Vault. Sam Applegate got 1st place on the Pommel Horse and finished 4th place in the All-Around for the 3rd consecutive meet. Silas Hockensmith finished 3rd on Floor, 4th on High Bar, and 5th on Parallel Bars. Colin Kruer placed 4th on Rings, showing off his muscle-up for the second time this season! Drew Wilson got 5th on Pommel Horse and 4th on Vault. And, Caleb Hammer finished 5th on both Vault and Parallel Bars.
As for the Level 6's, Weston Applegate finished 1st on Floor for the second time this season, Thomas Britton got 5th on Rings, and Kyle Zeinemann placed 3rd on Vault. Brady Dunn got 2nd on Pommel Horse, 3rd on Rings, 4th on Parallel Bars, and finished 3rd overall!
The Level 7's did great, as well. Carson Kaake went home with 2nd place medals for both Floor and Rings, a 3rd place medal on Vault, and 4th place overall. Dakota Stover received 3rd place on Pommel Horse and Vault, 2nd on Rings, 4th on Parallel Bars, 1st on High Bar, and 3rd in the All-Around!
Also worth mentioning, were some of our competition meet firsts! Justin McWilliams made his muscle-up on Rings. Weston Applegate made his Kip swing Handstand on the Parallel Bars. Nathan Wise and Kyle Zeinemann both competed Front Giants for the first time on High Bar. And Dakota Stover made his first non-fall Pommel Horse routine as a Level 7!
